10월 1일 – San Diego Restaurant Week

This September, San Diego Restaurant Week will celebrate local by showcasing the fresh and delicious ingredients that our region is known for with Eight Days of Dining!

10월 2일 – San Diego International Film Festival

The San Diego International Film Festival, running from Wednesday, September 28 to Sunday, October 2, is the region’s premier showcase for outstanding U.S. and international independent filmmaking. The festival will occupy two unique festival villages – one in La Jolla with ArcLight Cinema, Westfield UTC, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, and one in downtown San Diego, encompassing several theaters and venues in and around the Gaslamp Quarter. Produced by the San Diego Film Foundation, the five-day event will feature 100+ independent films, studio premieres, panels with celebrities and industry insiders, red carpet events, parties, all-star tributes and filmmaker awards.

10월 8일 - Fire rescue 5K & Expo

To kick off Fire Prevention Week, the San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation is holding a 5K Run/Walk & Kids Run. The run not only allows San Diegans to have fun running with local firefighters but also raises funds for the foundation. The money helps support their mission of providing enhanced equipment, training, and to support their community education program. The San Diego Fire Rescue 5K & Kids Run is for everyone and offers several divisions including: 5K Run/Walk, 5K Run/Walk Stroller Division, 5K Public Safety Division, 1-mile Kids Run, and a 100 meter Sparky Sprint. Firefighters will run along with participants and meet them at the finish line to hand out finisher’s medals.

Families, the community and race participants can also enjoy the interactive Fire Safety Expo. The expo features firefighter demonstrations with SDFD specialty divisions including Bomb Squad, Hazmat, and Heavy Rescue. Also present will be Sparky the Fire Dog, San Diego Project Heart Beat, CERT San Diego, San Diego Lifeguards, SDG&E Fire Safety House, and more.

10월9일 – Little Italy Festa! Celebration

The Little Italy Association of San Diego is proud to host the 22nd annual Festa!, the largest Italian cultural festival on the West Coast. The streets of San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood will be filled with over 120,000 visitors from all over the world to pay tribute to the Italian heritage and culture that created this iconic neighborhood. The event will feature Italian food, al fresco dining, authentic Italian music on three difference stages, a Sicilian flag procession, street stickball and bocce ball tournaments, gesso Italiano (Italian chalk), and more.

 10월 16일 – Waterski and Wakeboard on mission bay

The Convair Waterski Club is active year-round on Mission Bay. The club provides two ski boats for waterskiing and wakeboarding, with free instruction and equipment available on request. 10월 22일 – Fit Foodie 5K & 10K

Cross the most delicious finish line ever and indulge in a day filled with food and fitness. 10월 23일 –  Tourmaline Club Challenge

This competition between Pacific Beach and Cardiff Surf Clubs features several divisions including all-ages Longboard as well as Shortboard, Stand-Up Paddle, Menehunes, and Juniors. Spectators free.

10월 28일 – The 4th Halloween Costume Contest in Chongro!!

We will have a costume contest in 28th October. At the time, you can show off your unique costume in Chongro! You can get some reward if you win in contest. Come and show us what you get!!

10월 29일 – Embarcadero, Skyline, USS Midway Cruise

Views of the Embarcadero, Maritime Museum Ships (Star of India, HMS Surprise, USS Dolphin sub, Russian B29 sub), USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, Seaport Village, view of Coronado Bridge, Downtown and U.S. nuclear carrier base dockage.
