4월 1일 : BRYAN CALLEN
Bryan Callen is a comedian, actor, and current co-host of the wildly popular FOX Sports podcast The Fighter and the Kid, with UFC star Brendan Schaub. Callen got his start as an original cast member of MAD TV. He then went on to play numerous roles on the small and big screen including, Old School, Bad Santa, Sex and the City, Entourage, Californication, 7th Heaven, King of Queens, Stacked, Las Vegas, West Wing, CSI, and The Hangover II.

4월 2일: SPEAKUP 5K SAN DIEGO
The SpeakUp5K Series is coming back to the West Coast for a third round of fun. This is not a timed event. This is a fun, family friendly event for everyone to enjoy.

4월 8일: PASSPORT TO WORLDS OF MUSIC
Passport to Worlds of Music Asian informal concert series featuring classical and folk music traditions from Australia and Asia. This music and lecture series will introduce you to the sounds, aesthetics, and cultural significance of the music of Australia, North India, and Burma/Myanmar.
April 8, 2017 — Music of the Ethnic Minorities of Burma/Myanmar This special performance of traditional music and dance from Burma is presented by members of the refugee community in San Diego. The artists are mostly Karen, an ethnic minority groups of Burma. This is a rare event, as it demonstrates the perseverance of the human spirit as it struggles to maintain and nurture traditional art forms when forced to relocate away from the homeland. This event is made possible through collaboration with the Karen Organization of San Diego.

4월 9일: LIVE MUSIC MEDITATION
Experience a unique monthly live music meditation. Relax into the sacred sounds of didgeridoo, drum, voice, native flute, kalimba, harmonic chimes, nature sounds, and other healing frequencies in a dynamic soundscape that will take you on a journey of sound. Musical medicine woman Kerem Brulé is a sacred sound musician who creates improvisational healing and meditative soundscapes to support transformation, relaxation, and inner peace. 4월 15일: 2017 Mission Bay Classic Kayak Tournament
This annual Heroes on the Water kayak-fishing event kicks off from Santa Clara Point early, as new this year, the halibut division anglers will have the option to check in online the day prior and launch any time after 4am. The bass division will have a shotgun start at 7am. Kids under the age of 18 fish for free with a paid adult. Prize payouts for the top finishers with all proceeds going to Heroes on the Water. Swag bags for the 1st 100 entries, BBQ, raffle & awards.

4월 16일: Red Bull Air Race World Championship
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best race pilots in a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision, and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made up of air-filled pylons 82 feet high at speeds of up to 230 mph. For the San Diego stop, the track will be set up directly over the water in San Diego Bay. Spectators can take in the high-speed, low-flying action from the North or South Embarcadero Marina Parks. The parks run along the San Diego harbor on the east side of San Diego Bay, on property administered by the Port of San Diego.

Cygnet Theatre presents the San Diego premiere of the musical -- book and lyrics, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Cy Coleman -- about a luxury train (the Twentieth Century) traveling from Chicago to New York City. Mischief ensues when a bankrupt theater producer attempts to cajole a glamorous Hollywood starlet. Sean Murray directs.

28th annual EarthFair in Balboa Park with more than 300 exhibits from groups sharing what they are doing to help the environment and how you can help.

4월 29일: Mission Federal ArtWalk
The 33rd annual Mission Federal ArtWalk and stroll through San Diego’s Little Italy to enjoy over 15 blocks filled with artwork from over 350 local, national, and international artists.
The weekend-long event is recognized as San Diego’s premier arts and cultural event and the largest fine art festival in Southern California. The event will showcase every medium including painting, sculpture, glass work, photography, and fine jewelry. New to this year’s event will be the live mural work of famous local muralists Mario Torero and Maxx Moses. Attendees will be able to participate in mural-making alongside these well-known mural masters. The free family-friendly event will not only include art but also live musical performances, street food, interactive art activities, and KidsWalk, offering a wide range of creative projects. This year’s interactive art activity is sponsored by Artist & Craftsman Supply and San Diego Visual Arts Network.

Art Alive, the museum's signature fundraiser and annual floral exhibition, brings the museum's permanent collection to life in a beautiful way. Featuring more than 100 floral interpretations of famous works of art and a central Rotunda design, the exhibition is accompanied by three full days of events.
