8월 5일 JAZZ VESPERS
Each Jazz Vespers service begins with a 30-minute set of live jazz, blues, and gospel, featuring the Archie Thompson & the Archtones and guest musicians.

8월 6일WHALE & WILDLIFE CRUISE
See humpback whales, minke whales, fin whales, sharks, harbor seals, and California sea lions, dolphins (common, Pacific, Risso's) -- often in pods numbering in the hundreds -- Australian jellies, cormorants, brown pelicans, and the most coveted whale-watching encounter: blue whales. Guided by Birch Aquarium naturalists on board.

8월 12일STREET FOOD CINEMA: THE BREAKFAST CLUB
Street Food Cinema is three events in one: a picnic with a live music performance and then an outdoor movie. The Street Food Cinema experience starts with food trucks lined up to serve fresh, hot food that you take to your picnic blanket. Then listen to live music from emerging San Diego music artists. Finally, an outdoor movie on the big screen.

8월 13일SAN DIEGO TROPICAL FISH SOCIETY

Our organization has been around for over 60 years, and we encourage all members of San Diego to join our club. We have monthly meetings starting at 6:30 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month at the same location. At these meetings we have an auction of tropical fish assorted items, followed by a lecture by an individual from various members throughout the tropical fish community nation wide. At the end of the meeting we have a raffle of various tropical fish assorted items of which live fish and plants are provided by members as well as from the Pet Kingdom store. Although the public is invited to attend, there is an annual fee for those who wish to participate in the auction.

8월 19일LATIN FOOD FEST SAN DIEGO
America’s largest annual Hispanic culinary celebration featuring tastings, a celeb chef dinner, parties, and workshops. The signature event, Gran Tasting, is an all-inclusive tasting festival. Guests pay one price to enter and indulge in a variety of local and international food, wine, and spirits, meet acclaimed chefs who will conduct demos, and there's the Best of Fest Awards – a showcase of culinary excellence. www.latinfoodfest.com.

8월 20일GOSPEL BRUNCH
This event showcases local talent performing both traditional and contemporary Gospel songs. Before and during the show, treat yourself to an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring breakfast favorites plus carving stations, southern specialties, and desserts. Included in your ticket purchase is a $1 donation to Music Forward, a national non-profit organization channeling the power of music to help under served youth create pathways to productive, sustainable, and fulfilling lives.

8월 26일IMPROV COMEDY SHOW
In this interactive, fast-paced show, the ensemble creates one-of-a-kind, short-form comedy based entirely off of the audience's suggestions. The format is similar to games seen on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Shows are funny, topical, and family-friendly. All ages welcome. Discounts for military, seniors, students, and teachers. 8월 27일WATERSKI AND WAKEBOARD
The Convair Waterski Club is active year-round on Mission Bay. The club provides two ski boats for waterskiing and wakeboarding, with instruction and equipment available on request. Nominal fee per run.
