 12월 3일 Skating by the Sea

Skating by the Sea returns to Hotel del Coronado from Thanksgiving Day through January 1. This ice rink is located seaside on Windsor Lawn and features views of the Pacific and Coronado beach. The Del’s iconic Victorian Building, adorned with thousands of white lights, provides a visual backdrop and adds holiday music and hot chocolate and libations. Skating is $25 per person, and ice skate rentals are free. Event times fluctuate; check website.

A series of runs on Garnet Avenue featuring a 5K fun run and one-mile waves that include a run with your dog, a kids’ run, and a competitive race. “San Diego Santa Run is the only event in the country that provides all 5K participants with a Sunny Santa Suit and sunglasses,” say the promoters. Starts and finishes at the intersection of Garnet Avenue and Bayard Street.

12월 10일Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade

Pet owners and their furry, feathered, and scaled companions are invited to don their favorite costumes for this jolly promenade and pet expo. The tinseled procession goes throughout the Gaslamp Quarter and then returns to MLK Promenade Park, where participants can explore the Pet Expo with live music and special pet presentations on the “cat” walk stage.
