Held in conjunction with the USATF National 50K Race Walk Championships (7:30 a.m.-1 p.m.). Giant inflatable obstacle courses, firefighter challenges, kid's fit fun zone, active game area, fitness class demos, BMX trick show, and a variety of vendors showcasing the best of health and wellness. Try your hand at race walking, and meet & greet with professional race walkers. In recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27), San Diego History Center will host a powerful call to action through the arts, using the lessons of the Holocaust, to discuss the dangers of hatred and bigotry. This timely and family-oriented event will include a film screening of NOT the Last Butterfly (film is suitable for fifth grade and older), painting ceramic butterflies, painted butterfly installation, and scavenger hunt.
