1월 5일 Jungle Bells
세계적으로 유명한 샌디에고 동물원에서 겨울을 맞이하여 특별한 이벤트가 진행됩니다. 겨울을 사랑하는 동물들을 한자리에서 만나 볼 수 있고, 저녁 시간에는 사육사가 프레젠테이션을 통해 여러 동물을 소개하는 시간을 가질 수 있습니다.
The Zoo’s seasonal Jungle Bells celebration is a pretty chill time, as it plays up animals from colder climates while staying open until 8 p.m. The Northern Frontier’s Holiday Forest (open between 3 and 8 p.m.) features a trail through specially lit trees to the winter-loving animals. During the evening hours there are special presentations where zookeepers show off animals such as cheetahs or raccoons and explain their unique features.

Mark Holmes Photography Workshops presents "A Beginner's Guide to Digital Photography." Suitable for all users of mirrorless and DSLR changeable lens cameras, this special workshop combines two workshops for the price of one. The workshop takes place outside at locations in Balboa Park. Some walking may be required as well as long periods of standing. You do not need a tripod or other accessories. Please ensure your camera battery is charged and that you have a memory card in your camera. You may bring any lenses you have, but an 18-55mm or kit lens is ideal. Looking for a unique volunteer opportunity? You can help improve habitat for wildlife along the San Diego River! Volunteers will help to remove non-native plant species, clearing the way allowing local species to reclaim their niche creating a healthy environment for the plants and animals that call our river home. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about river ecology and witness a physical transformation of the landscape, which translates into improving our environment and the health of our River!

숨을 쉬지 못하는 것 만큼 힘든 일도 없겠죠? 폐 건강을 위해 미국 폐 협회에서 걷기 대회를 준비했습니다. 이번 걷기 대회에는 푸드트럭, 아이들을 위한 키즈존, 다양한 학습 도구들도 준비되어 있습니다.
When you can’t breathe, nothing else matters. That is why the American Lung Association has guarded our lungs for the past 115 years. Join us to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease at the 2020 Southern California LUNG FORCE Walk. Take a stand against the critical threats we face today including lung cancer, poor air quality and vaping by registering today. The LUNG FORCE Walk features a festival area with food trucks, a kids’ zone, and amazing educational resources. The walk is a 5k with a 1 mile route option. Registration is free, and fundraising is encouraged.
