Life is about being connected, especially as humans we interact with each other and our environment. As artists we try to connect to the deeper meanings of life using our chosen medium and often connect things that appear initially opposed to each other. All of the five artists are connected in these aspirations. We invite the viewer to experience such connections through our artworks.

뉴욕에서 활동하는 다섯명의 젊은 작가들이 함께 모여 ‘CONNECTIONS’ 라는 주제로 3월2일부터 맨하튼에 위치한 갤러리마음에서 전시회를 개최합니다. 삶, 특히 인간으로서의 삶이란 인간 상호간에 그리고 인간과 그 인간을 둘러싸고있는 주변의 환경이 서로 소통하고 영향을 끼치며 연결되어 있는 것 입니다.

작가로서 이들은 각자가 선택한 매체를 이용하여 더 깊은 의미의 삶과의 연결, 그리고 때로는 서로 상반되게 비춰지는 것들간의 연결들을 시도 합니다. 각기 다른 매체를 통해 다섯명의 작가들은 모두 이러한 열망과 포부로 연결되어 있으며, 관객들로 하여금 그러한 연관성과 연결되어짐을 이들의 작품들을 통해 경험할 수 있도록 초대합니다.
