The Korean Cultural Service NY is pleased to present the exhibition, “Take Old Road New Way,” featuring 7 contemporary artists. This is an inaugural exhibition of Call for Artists 2013, presenting the artists’ personal interpretations of traditional Korean values, materials, and techniques with a modern approach. Artworks created with various media are embedded with both the elegance and sophistication of traditional Korean craftsmanship and aesthetic to portray the synthesis of the past and present.
