일반영어과정은 일상생활에 있어서 영어를 정확하고 유창하게 사용하기를 원하는 학생들을 위한 프로그램입니다. 일반영어과정의 오전반은 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기와 발음 및 단어와 문법을 포함한 전반적인 영어실력 향상을 위한 포괄적이며 균형있는 프로그램을 제공합니다. 일반영어과정의 오후반 또는 오후 파트 타임반은 학생들이 일상생활에서 필요로 하는 영어구사능력을 향상시키기 위한 핵심적인 기술과 표현방법에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

오전에만 수업을 듣는 학생들은 오후에 퀸즈타운의 독특한 자연환경과 다양한 야외활동을 즐길 수 있습니다. 저녁반에 참석하는 학생들은 낮 레슨동안 자유롭게 관광이나 휴식을 취하거나 일을 할 수 있습니다. 일반영어과정은 학생들의 다양한 요구를 수용할 수 있는 탄력적인 프로그램을 가지고 있으며, 우리의 소규모 학급은(학급 당 최대 8명) 각각의 학생들이 영어를 향상시킬 수 있는 최적의 기회를 제공할 수 있습니다.

Exam Preparation

IELTS (International English Language Testing Systems)
Students undertake the General English morning class to improve the essential English skills needed for this exam. In the afternoon class the focus is on IELTS examination skill development.

ㆍFull Time: 9:00 - 12:00 / 13:00 -15:00 (25 hours / week)
ㆍCourse Duration: 12 week preparation courses for both the Academic and General English Modules of the IELTS Examination.
ㆍClass size: Minimum 4 / Maximum 8 students per class
ㆍEnglish entry Level: Intermediate.

CAMBRIDGE Examination: First Certificate in English (FCE)
Students undertake the General English morning class and the afternoon class focuses on specific examination skill development for the Cambridge FCE Exam.

ㆍFull Time: 9:00 - 12:00 / 13:00 -15:00 (25 hours / week)
ㆍCourse Duration: 12 weeks
ㆍClass size: Minimum 4 / Maximum 8 students per class
ㆍEnglish entry Level: Intermediate.

ABC College of English Examination courses include:

English Plus Activities

This course combines English Language study with holiday activities. Students study part time on our General English morning course and participate in selected activities in the afternoon.

• Course Duration: 2 - 12 weeks
• Course Start Date: Any Monday
• General English Classes: Monday - Friday: 0900 - 1200 (15 hrs/ week)
• Afternoon Activities: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons

Activities are selected from the list below and are scheduled in the afternoons according to weather conditions:

Our English + Work Placement Programme offers students a full time course in General English and the assistance they need to find work. As New Zealand 's premier holiday and tourist destination, Queenstown's many hotels, restaurants and shops provide the opportunity for seasonal, short - term work within the hospitality and tourism industries.

ㆍCourse Duration: 4 - 12 weeks
ㆍCourse Start Date: Any Monday
ㆍEnglish entry level: Pre Intermediate
ㆍRequirements: Valid Working Holiday visa
