English as a Second Language (ESL)

International students who meet our minimum TOEFL/IELTS requirements are eligible to apply to one of our many diploma programs. See a list of available diploma programs and check our applications page for admissions requirements.

For students who need more English instruction, offer four different ESL courses:

* English as a Second Language (ESL)

Learn with the Cambridge Interchange and Passages textbook series

· Advance through six levels, from low beginner to high advanced
· Enjoy a fun, practical class taught by experienced and enthusiastic instructors!

* English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

· Learn to be a successful student in the Canadian post-secondary system
· Focus on academic skills: reading, writing, listening to lectures, taking notes and giving presentations
· Earn one full credit toward graduation
· Pass the EAP and be eligible for admission into a Confederation College diploma program—no TOEFL necessary!
