Hill School

1851년에 설립된 힐스쿨은 남자 고등학교로서 약 300에이커에 달하는 캠퍼스가 주거 지역에서 광활한 시골지역까지 연결되어 있다. 학교에서 15분 가량 떨어진 곳에 전용 캠프장이 있으며 조그만 호수와 사격장도 있다. 힐스쿨이 위치한 파츠타운은 필라델피아 시로부터 북서쪽으로 50분, 벨리포즈 국립공원(Valley Forge National Park)에서 25분 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다. 학교가 대서양 영향권 지대에 위치해 있어서 연중 적당한 기온과 따뜻한 가을 날씨를 즐길 수 있고, 겨울이면 하키나 스키 등을 즐길 수 있는 세계적인 휴양지 포코너가 가까이 위치해 있다.

학생과 교사비는 약 6:1 정도이고 평균 학급수는 15명으로 제한하고 있다. 연간 3학기제로서 매 학기말이면 교사의 소견이 적힌 성적증명서가 집으로 발송되며, 수업시간 외에도 도움이 필요할 때는 언제든지 교사들이 도움을 주고 있다. 도서관 역시 하루 12시간 개방된다.

미국 펜실베이니아 주 남동부 몽고메리 군의 자치시. 필라델피아 북서쪽 59㎞ 지점 스쿨킬 강가에 있습니다. 1716년 이 지역 최초의 철공소(풀로 알려짐)가 토머스 루터에 의해 세워졌으며, 1732년 펜실베이니아에서는 처음으로 코번트리 철공소가 상업용 강철을 생산했습니다.
이곳에는 1777~78년 겨울에 조지 워싱턴의 작전본부로 잠시 사용되었던 포츠그로브 저택(1752)이 있으며, 폴록 자동차전시장에는 옛날 자동차들이 소장되어 있습니다. 1830년에 복원된 철공업 마을 공동체인 호프웰 빌리지 국립사적지, 오거스터스 루터파 교회(1743), 프렌치 크리크 공원, 싱잉 록스 공원 등이 근처에 있습니다. 인구 21,831(1990).
