The dramatic story of enduring love in the face of oppression and national turmoil is set in the fraught environment of Mussolini’s Italy during World War II. The lovers Tosca and Cavaradossi try to help a political prisoner and attract the attention of the evil chief of police, Scarpia.

Internationally renowned sopranos Cheryl Barker and Alexia Voulgaridou share the title role, while star tenors Yonghoon Lee and Diego Torre will perform the role of Cavaradossi. John Wegner presents a chilling portrait of Scarpia. Expect stunning imagery from set designer Michael Scott-Mitchell.
