호주 [샌프란] 8월 이벤트 달력

1.      매주 월~금: 샌프란시스코 지사에서 진행하는 1: 1 개인 튜터. Kevin 선생님께서 하시는 개인교습은 항상 예약이 꽉 차 있어 기다려야 할 정도로 인기 폭발입니다.

2.      August 4-5: 39th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair, Japan town (Post Street between Laguna and Fillmore Streets), S.F. Nihonmachi Street Fair features Asian inspired, hand made Arts & Crafts, Lion dancers, Taiko drummers, live entertainment, great food, and fun children's games. 11am-6pm. Free admission. 415-771-9861.

3.      August 3: American Craft Show- Festival Pavilion, Fort Mason, S.F. The show features over 250 artists, designer jewelry, furniture, clothing, home decor, wine-tastings, lectures and demos. Fri 10am-8pm, Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 10am-5pm

4.      August 10: Football game- San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings

5.      August 12: Stern Grove Midsummer Music Festival, Stern Grove (19th Ave and Sloat Blvd), S.F. Free Sunday concerts featuring artists from around the world performing in a beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Concerts begin at 2pm.

6.      August 13: Baseball game- Giants vs. Nationals at At&t Park.

7.      August 16: SFJAZZ Summer Fest 'Free Summer Concerts' at Union Square, S.F. Thursday Shows begin at 6pm. Free admission.

8.      August 11: Alcatraz Alumni Day '78th Anniversary' of Alcatraz Reunion, Alcatraz, San Francisco Bay. Former inmates, guards and families who lived on the island during its heyday, come together to share their stories with each other and the public. Hear firsthand accounts of what life was like on the 'Rock.'' Special activities are held throughout the day.

9.      August 23: 지사 한국음식 파티가 있습니다. 오후 4:30부터 시작하며 재미있는 음식도 먹고 유익한 유학생활 정보도 얻을 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 많은 참여 부탁 드립니다.

 

10.  August 25-26: Treasure Island Flea Market, Outdoors on the Great Lawn, Avenue of the Palms, Treasure Island, S.F. Treasure Island Flea (the Bay Area's fourth large market) takes place on Saturday and Sunday (the last weekend of each month). Entrepreneurs showcase their products, including handmade bags, jewelry, art, sports collections, furniture, clothing... and more! Specialty foods and gourmet products. Admission $3 for adults; free for children 12 and younger. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
