A leading chamber-music ensemble in Australia, the Sydney Soloists is made up of principal players from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, who combine a wealth of international experience. This year’s program includes the delightful and engaging Francaix Divertissement; the lyrical ‘Introduction, theme and variations’ from two great writers of opera, Rossini and Weber; the Australian premiere of the charming Kevin Puts Concerto for Soprano Saxophone and the masterful Dvor¡ak piano quintet in A major.
