캐나다 Making His Mark: Picasso Prints and Drawings

Pablo Picasso (1881?1973) ceaselessly experimented with traditional and new media, and was a prolific draftsman and printmaker. This group of drawings and prints reveals his technical virtuosity. Dating from his early days as a struggling young artist through the final decade of his legendary career, these works on paper demonstrate the wide range of his thematic choices.
 
From peasants to mythological beasts, from sexualized nudes to his iconic dove, Picasso’s works lay bare his personal passions, as well as his humanity and his sensitivity to the fragility of human life.
