Based on T.S. Eliot’s book of poems Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Cats is about a tribe of felines deciding which of its members is ready to reemerge into a new life. The Tony-winning show’s best-known song is “Memory”, which has been covered by dozens of singers.
