캐나다 Steam Whistle`s Oktoberfest

Cities around the world love to observe their own versions of the famous German Oktoberfest festival, and Toronto is no exception, especially at the Steam Whistle Brewery. This year, the Brewery celebrates Oktoberfest for the third year, filling an entire Saturday with giant pretzels, sausages, saue and, of course, Steam Whistle beer.

 

Steam Whistle founders Cam & Greg, along with Brewmaster Marek, start things off with a ceremonial keg-tapping; George Kash and the Oktoberfest Express host the festival. The first Oktoberfest took place in 1810 in Munich, with horse races; today, the Munich festival is a world-famous event that lasts 16 days.
