캐나다 Bloor-Yorkville IceFest 2013 : Free

The annual Bloor-Yorkville IceFest is back  for its eighth year with ice sculpture displays, events and more. Over the course of the weekend, artists will complete an ice sculpture winter scene make from 35 000 pounds of ice.

The ice displays are themed, with the “Wonderful & Whimsical” ice display which includes the magical “Enchanted Garden” centerpiece of fairies, gnomes, butterflies and more, with complimentary `Ice Kiddiie Cubes` with a toy for children.

The fest also includes ice carving demonstrations and street performers, including skating performances by “Glisse on Ice”, and  the 13th Annual Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition, where ice carvers will create scultpures to be voted on by the public.
