미국 A COUNTRY SALUTE TO OUR TROOPS

The Boston Pops and Keith Lockhart will welcome Nashvilles elite songwriters, Music City Hitmakers Brett James and Hillary Lindsey, in their Boston Pops debuts June 13-15 for patriotic performances presented with a country twang. In this powerful program saluting the brave men and women who defend our freedom each and every day, the Hitmakers will share the behind-the-scenes stories which resulted in the creation of pop and pop country hits written for such stars as Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, and Lady Antebellum. Along with performances of Its America, Jesus Take the Wheel, Mr. Know-It-All, and other well-known tunes from the heartland, these concerts will feature Coming Home from the film Country Strong as well as Theres A Place For Us, from the final installment of the Narnia series. A Country Salute to our Troops is presented by the Boston Pops in time for Flag Day on June 14.
