미국 The Codmother Fish and Chips

This place has got charm.  

But besides that, the best damn fish and chips Ive ever had, and for a reasonable price.

I have to say though, after eating, I was dragging.  I mean, the body was sent into overdrive  digesting all the fried goodness.  What did I expect?  But it was outstanding.

There was no line when we went, early evening.  The food still took 10-15 minutes, I wonder what its like when there is a line?  Nevertheless, from my experience, only good things to say.  Convenient malt vinegar squeeze bottles at each table, maybe thats standard at fish n chip places, I dont know.  They gave us four packets of tartar sauce and we needed it all!  (for the one serving we shared)  

The fries are cooked to perfection.  Thick cut, very crispy, and lots of potato taste still there.  The fish was heavily battered, steaming and very moist biting into it.  The meat was tender and flaking, just as it should be.

Ill definitely try other nearby spots for fish and chips, just to try.  But I know I can count on the Codmother to deliver.
