SWEA Annual Swedish Christmas Festival

The SWEA Toronto (Swedish Women’s Educational Association International Toronto Inc.) Annual Swedish Christmas Festival returns for another year and celebrates its 30th anniversary!

Guests will enjoy festive entertainment with two shows daily featuring the renowned Lucia pageant. The pageant will include a procession of children singing traditional Swedish Christmas carols. Lucia is a symbol of goodness and light that opens the Christmas season. Other entertainment includes traditional folk dancing and a special magical show.

Children can also take part in the popular Christmas workshop where they can make Swedish crafts and dance around the Christmas tree. Guests can buy traditional Swedish gifts including Swedish clogs, homemade crafts, textiles, Swedish food, glogg (mulled wine) and much more. The Swedish Restaurant will serve a variety of Swedish delicacies.
